Row Edit and Row Details comparison

The Row Edit and Row Details dialog boxes are used for editing and configuring RealTime database (RTDB) records.

The two dialog boxes are similar, but please note the following important differences in the table shown below:

Access and Buttons

Row Edit Dialog Box

Row Details Dialog Box

Open

From the Advanced Database Editor (ADE) window.

From the Table Edit dialog box.

Apply

Not Applicable

  1. Save the data into the Table Edit dialog box.

  2. Close the Row Details dialog box.

  3. Return to the Table Edit dialog box.

    Note: The data is not saved into the database. You can save the data into the database by selecting Save in the Table Edit dialog box.

Cancel

Not Applicable

  1. Close the Row Details dialog box.

  2. Return to the Table Edit dialog box.

    Save

    Save the data into the database

    Not Applicable, the data is not saved into the database. The data is applied to the Table Edit dialog box. For more information, refer to the Apply row, listed above.

    New, Delete

    Same as the Table Edit dialog box.

    Not Applicable.
