Configure Pivot and Transfer DAL for the same domain with the source and target systems in the same ADAM realm

In this scenario, the source system and target systems are in the same domain and the same Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM) realm. The Data Access Layer (DAL) file described will allow Pivot and Transfer to function from a deployment or engineering system to a production system.

Note: No Data Access Layer (DAL) configuration on the target system is required.

To configure the Data Access Layer (DAL) for Pivot and Transfer in this scenario

1. Configure the source DAL file.

   For a list of configurable parameters and an example file, refer to Source Data Access Layer (DAL) file.

2. If, for example, the source system is es and the destination system is ls1pdc, then place the DALConfig_PnT_SameDomain_PDC.xml file under the source system control_room DAL folder (for example %DNADataRoot%\Shared\config\DAL\es\control_room).
