GenerateDatabaseModel
For most projects, you do not need to provide parameter values to the Generate Data Model tool because the parameters are populated with default values. The following is an example of the Generate Data Model tool usage and a list of the parameters with associated default values:
GenerateDatabaseModel [-n <AssemblyName>] [-b <BaseNamespace>] [-t <TemporaryFolder>] [-o <OutputPath>] [-v <AssemblyFileVersion>] [-c ]
Where:
-
-n <AssemblyName> is the name of the output assembly (without extensions). It has a default value of OASySDNA.RealTime.Data.Model.Extensions.
-
-b <BaseNamespace> is the base namespace for the assembly and the classes within it. It has a default value of OASySDNA.RealTime.Data.Model.
-
-t <TemporaryFolder> is the temporary location for generated code. It has a default value of %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\temp\GeneratedModels\<Random Folder Name>.
-
-o <OutputPath> is the output path for the assembly. It has a default value of %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\bin.
-
-v <AssemblyFileVersion> is the file version number to stamp the assembly with. If a version is not provided, the version will automatically increment.
Note: If the output assembly already exists, the version number will be incremented. If the output assembly does not match, the version number will match the installed version of the product.
-
-c <Company Name> is the company name for copyright information. It has a default value of Schneider Electric Software, LLC.
