Note: For information on overriding default configuration settings, see Modify configuration settings.

Follow the procedure below to enable the RealTime krunching mechanism to process the telemetered data of analog, rate, status, and multistate RealTime database (RTDB) table points when a Controller places said points into Manual Override mode.

This feature is disabled by default for all supported point types.

Before You Begin

Ensure you have created a custom override library. For further information, see Override the RealTime Extensions VirtualDatabase library.

To enable the krunching of telemetered data for points in Manual Override mode

  1. In the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings directory, either create or open the RealTime_libcommEnhance_Override.json file.

  2. In the following section of the RealTime_libcommEnhance_Override.json file, set the value of one or more of the following keys to true depending on the points whose data you want the system to krunch when the points are in Manual Override mode:

    {

    "KRUNCH_MANL_ANALOG_ENABLED": false,

    "KRUNCH_MANL_STATUS_ENABLED": false,

    "KRUNCH_MANL_RATE_ENABLED": false,

    "KRUNCH_MANL_MULTISTATE_ENABLED": false

    }

  3. Save the file.

  4. Restart the RealTime service.
