The PI-OASyS Interface has data set awareness support for distributed systems.

If the PI-OASyS interface is configured to support a distributed environment, then only the PI-OASyS interface which runs in the system that owns that data set can retrieve data from the RealTime database (RTDB) system and send the data to the PI Server. The PI-OASyS interface in the non-owning system will not send data to the PI Server until it regains ownership of the dataset.
