The Timeline Collect Editor is used to add or edit collect RealTime database table records in the Timeline/TimeSeries database.
About this task
Editing a record will create an event request capturing the audit trail in the DataModSummary event table. Event requests will be processed every five minutes, except for the first ten minutes from the top of the hour (by default) to avoid deadlock scenarios. As a result, edits to the Timeline/TimeSeries database may take up to five minutes or until the top of the hour has passed to be visible in the the easy eXtended Operator Station (ezXOS) event summary.

Records contained in the Timeline/TimeSeries database can only be edited for a single collection point; therefore multiple points cannot be simultaneously selected for editing.
When a record is edited, the letter M appears in the Status column on the Timeline Collect Editor once the data has been processed by the system to indicate that the record has been edited manually. If the system is configured to use TimeSeries, the updated record may still show the old value in the Timeline Collect Editor. The edited record is saved in the Historical server, but viewing the edits to the record could be delayed. The length of time before viewing may be up to 200 times the collect frequency.
Modifications apply to the collect table. The day, month and year tables are automatically updated after revision.
