The following parameters in the Data Access Layer (DAL) file are configurable:
-
DriverProperty LegacyADOConnectionString Server is the Microsoft SQL Server name as the Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) Host Name (for example, pdcHs1, pdcSqlsvr).
-
DriverProperty ConnectionString Server is the Microsoft SQL Server name as the RDBMS Host Name (for example, pdcHs1, pdcSqlsvr).
-
DriverProperty HostName is the virtual host name of the Archive service (for example, pdcArchive).
An appropriate source DAL filename can be chosen as needed.
The following is a DALConfig_SingleArchive_PDC.xml source DAL file example for clustered SQL Server installation:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<DALConfig xmlns="http://www.telvent.com/DALConfig" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.telvent.com/DALConfig DALConfig.xsd">
