The watchdog table is used by the Flatline Watchdog application to monitor an AVEVA Enterprise SCADA telemetered point to determine if a telemetered value has flatlined.
Note: Up to five monitored points can be defined per watchdog. For all monitoredPoint[x] fields, [x] is a value from 0 to 4.
The watchdog table contains the following internal fields:
|
Internal Field Name |
Data Type |
Description |
|---|---|---|
|
dataset |
doas_dset_slot |
This field indicates the dataset to which the record is assigned. Datasets are used to associate the record with the privileges assigned for each system mode. Once a record is assigned to a dataset value, the dataset can only be changed to a value for which the system has a privilege record. |
|
demandPollEnabled |
oas_boolean_t |
This field enables or disables Demand Polling. If enabled, integrity will be requested whenever a triggered situation disappears. |
|
description |
pntdescription |
This field is a description of this watchdog record. |
|
enabled |
oas_boolean_t |
This field is used to indicate whether or not monitoring should be enabled. |
|
flag |
flags |
For information on the flag structure, see Flag structure details. |
|
group |
groupslot |
This field indicates the group for the point. |
|
rtnHoldOffInterval |
internaltime |
Interval in hours, minutes, and seconds where the rtnHoldOffCycles has to be validated. |
|
rtnHoldOffCycles |
rtnHoldOffCycles |
Number of cycles to validate for a normal state. Note: The maximum number of rtnHoldOffCycles is 5. |
|
monitoredPoint[x].rtnHoldOffValidTimes[x] |
internaltime |
Array that stores the last valid times for return-to-normal (RTN) hold off. |
|
monitoredPoint[x].flatTime |
flatLineInterval |
This field is the interval (in seconds) that the monitored AVEVA Enterprise SCADA telemetered point must change before it is considered to be in a flatline condition. |
|
monitoredPoint[x].high |
double |
This field is the maximum range value of the monitored point. It is used when the Ramp or Range Watchdog type is selected. |
|
monitoredPoint[x].ignoreRTNHoldOff |
oas_boolean_t |
Ignore the configuration in the RTN Hold Off Cycles and the RTN Hold Off Interval fields on the watchdog Row Details dialog box so that this monitored point instantly returns to normal. |
|
monitoredPoint[x].increment |
double |
This field is the amount the analog value of the monitored point will be incremented each cycle. It is only used when the Ramp Flatline Watchdog type is selected. |
|
monitoredPoint[x].isInError |
oas_boolean_t |
This field indicates if the monitored point has an error condition. |
|
monitoredPoint[x].isOutOfRange |
oas_boolean_t |
This field indicates if the monitored point is out of range. |
|
monitoredPoint[x].isTriggered |
oas_boolean_t |
This field indicates if the monitored point is triggered by the watchdog. |
|
monitoredPoint[x].lastValue |
double |
This field is the last value of the monitored AVEVA Enterprise SCADA telemetered point that was read by the watchdog process. |
|
monitoredPoint[x].lastValueTime |
internaltime |
This field is the last time the Flatline Watchdog application detected a change in the value or the fresh status of the monitored AVEVA Enterprise SCADA telemetered point. |
|
monitoredPoint[x].low |
double |
This field is the minimum range value of the monitored point. It is used when the Ramp or Range Watchdog type is selected. |
|
monitoredPoint[x].pointPath |
path |
This field is the path to the monitored AVEVA Enterprise SCADA telemetered point. |
|
monitoredPoint[x].type |
Flatline Watchdog Type |
This field is the flatline watchdog type of the monitored point. The following are possible watchdog types:
|
|
name |
pntname |
This field is the unique name of this watchdog record. |
