Use the IsVisible attribute to hide or show a tab on a form.
To hide or show a tab
-
Do one of the following:
-
To show a tab, set the IsVisible attribute to true.
-
To hide a tab, set the IsVisible attribute to false.
-
For example, an ADE form contains the Main, Input, Alarming Limit, Alarm, and Averages tabs. If you set the IsVisible attribute for the Alarming Limit tab is set to false, the tab does not appear on the form. The Main, Input, Alarming, and Averages tabs, meanwhile, continue to appear on the form.
Note: If a tab uses the ComesAfter attribute so that it appears after another tab, the former tab will display even though the IsVisible attribute for the latter tab is set to false (not visible). For example, if the ComesAfter attribute for the Main tab is set to Input, and the IsVisible attribute for the Input tab is set to false, the Main tab will continue to appear on the form. The Input tab, however, will not appear on the form.
