Enable the calculation of averages for analog and flowTotalConfig points

Follow this procedure for every analog or flowTotalConfig point associated with a group record that is associated in turn with a defined top of day hour via a groupTOD record.

Before you begin

Complete the steps in Configure the top of day.

Note: In the procedure below, an analog point is used as an example. The procedure is slightly different for flowTotalConfig points (as described below). The Main tab in the analog Row Edit dialog box is opened through the analog table listing in Advanced Database Editor (ADE). For general information on ADE, and further information on the analog table, refer to the Advanced Database Editor (ADE) Administrator documentation and volume 1 of the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA RealTime Administrator documentation, respectively.

To enable the calculation of averages for analog and flowTotalConfig points

1. Navigate to the Main tab in the analog Row Edit dialog box.

   Note: For flowTotalConfig points, navigate to the appropriate Calc. Element [0-3] tab in the flowTotalConfig Row Edit dialog box.

   

2. Select Calculate Averages.
