Disable Inter-System Publish/Subscribe (ISPS) communication between systems

The Inter-System Publish/Subscribe (ISPS) service communication between systems can be disabled by creating a custom ISPS configuration setting JSON file. Entries can be provided that indicate whether communication with a system should be enabled or disabled.

To disable ISPS communication between systems

  1. Navigate to the %DNADataRoot%\ISPS\Config\Settings directory.

  2. Create the ISPS_Custom.json file.

  3. For each system that you want disabled, add the following JSON value:

    "DISABLE_SYSTEM_<System Name>": true

    For example, disabling the systems called ES and LS1SDC would require the following file:

    {

    "ISPS": {

    "DISABLE_SYSTEM_ES": true,

    "DISABLE_SYSTEM_LS1SDC": true

    }

    }

    A value of True indicates that communication will not be initiated with that system. A value of False indicates that communication will be initiated with that system.

  4. You must restart the ISPS service before the changes will take effect.

    Note: Refer to the ISPS.log file in the %DNADataRoot%\ISPS\log subdirectory to identify which systems are enabled for ISPS communication after the ISPS restart.
