Configure allowlisting software to execute binaries and scripts

The directories listed below will contain dynamically generated binaries or scripts required by AVEVA Enterprise SCADA product features. Configure your allowlisting software to allow the execution of these dynamic binaries and scripts.

• Dynamic CSCScript Executables: %DNADataRoot%\Shared\temp\cscscript\*

• Dynamic Application Calculation Engine (ACE) Scripts: %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\database\ACE\source\*

• Dynamic ACE Dynamic-link libraries (DLLs): %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\database\ACE\bin\*

• Dynamic ACE DLLs: %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\database\ACE\temp\*

• Dynamic RealTime scripts and files: %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\temp*

• Dynamic easy eXtended Operator Station (ezXOS) Scripts: %DNADataRoot%\ezXOS\<versionNum>\DB\g\scripting\*

• Dynamic eXtended Editor (XE) Scripts: %DNADataRoot%\ezXOS\<versionNum>\DB\edit\scripting\*

• Dynamic ezXOS DLLs:

  • %DNADataRoot%\ezXOS\<versionNum>\DB\g\scripting\*

  • %SystemDrive%\Users\*\AppData\Local\Temp\*

• Dynamic BLTHost DLLs: %SystemDrive%\Users\*\AppData\Local\Temp\*

• ezXOS DLLs: %DNAInstallRoot%\ezXOS\<versionNum>\bin\*

• Dynamic XE DLLs: %DNADataRoot%\ezXOS\<versionNum>\DB\edit\scripting\*

• RealTime-specific DLL (SQLite.Interop.dll): %DNAInstallRoot %\RealTime\bin\x64\*

  This rule is required to work with Management of Change (MOC) features.

• Dynamic PSSCRIPTPOLICYTEST Scripts: %SystemDrive%\Users\*\AppData\Local\Temp\*

  Note: Dynamic PSSCRIPTPOLICYTEST scripts are created in the user application data folder when running PowerShell for DNA.

• Add a rule to access the drive path of the SCADA Archive service device.

  Note: AVEVA encourages you to check the path syntax requirements of your chosen allowlisting software to ensure it can understand the %env% variables.
