Parameter Stored Procedure Define

When configuring the upload of metering data for a gas protocol using the Configurable Gas Load (CGL) Editor, you can configure the desired Data Payload Processor (DPP) load type by typing a Decode Define pattern. This pattern consists of the name of a template descriptor followed, optionally, by one or more user-defined DPP parameters. When the DPP process detects the DPP parameters, it calls the stored procedures associated with the parameters to retrieve the desired values and build the load type. This load type is then matched up against the defined Decode Define.
This functionality enables you to create a single CGL Load for any type of meter-run combination, as opposed to having to create separate templates for each meter.
DPP parameters appear on, and are maintained through, the Parameter Store Proc Define tab on the Data Payload Processor (DPP) Config Tool window.

Configuring the DPP Load Type
-
In the DPPLoadType field, enter the Decode Define pattern using the following format:
<TemplateDescriptor>{<parameter>}
Where:
<TemplateDescriptor> = The template descriptor as it appears in the <DPPLoadType> section of the Decode Definition field of a particular Decode Define.
{<parameter>} = (Optional) The name of a parameter_type appearing on the Parameter Store Proc Define tab of the Data Payload Processor (DPP) Config Tool window. To add additional parameters, insert an underscore before each parameter. For example, AGA3_{metering_method}_{meter_color}.
In the following example, the template descriptor is AGA3, while orifice_meter and green represent the values returned by the stored procedure associated with the parameters {metering_method} and {meter_color}, respectively.
