Stale Threshold (sec) |
Enter the number of seconds after which the driver sets the remote record to "No Reply", which in turn stales analog, status, rate, multistate, or gascontract points if no new data exists for these points in the Extended Markup Language (XML) data stream. Note: This field only applies to the Point Import and XML Point Import applications. Example: Assume that Stale Threshold (sec) is configured as 3600 seconds (1 hour). The system sets the remote record to "No Reply" and marks as stale any points not updated within 60 minutes. If you configure this field with a value of 0, the system sets the remote to "No Reply" every time a poll remote command completes. Note: A point updates each time it is included in the input file, even if its value is unchanged. |

Read Data Timeout (sec) |
Enter the maximum allowable time in seconds for the driver to receive a complete data message from the associated application (Point Import, XML Point Import, or Gas Contract Nominations). The timeout starts each time the driver receives the first character of a new message. |
