Respond to critical alarms

  • Last UpdatedApr 24, 2025

Follow this procedure to respond to a critical alarm condition caused by a critical point entering a critical alarm state.

To respond to a critical alarm

When an analog, a status, or a multistate point configured as a critical point enters a critical alarm state, the Critical Condition Summary window appears.

  1. Take appropriate action to clear the alarm condition.

The system dismisses the Critical Condition Summary window once the condition that caused the alarm no longer exists.

  2. If you cannot immediately resolve the alarm, acknowledge the alarm.

Acknowledging the alarm dismisses the Critical Condition Summary window.
