Parent State Alarm Suppression

  • Last UpdatedOct 22, 2020
  • 1 minute read

The Parent State Alarm Suppression enhancement allows suppression to be triggered by a point entering a specific state, as opposed to being triggered only when a Controller commands it or the point enters an alarm state.

When parent state suppression is active, the system performs suppression if the parent point is in the configured parent state (parentState). Otherwise, the system does not perform suppression.

You can configure either timed parent state alarm suppression or indefinite parent state alarm suppression.
