The menu bar at the top of the Code Editor has all of the standard editing functions.

File |
The File menu contains New, Open, Close, Save, Save All, Import, Export, and Exit. With the exception of Import, Export, and Exit, all of the menu items deal with the ACE code (acecode) that is registered into the system using the acecode database. Import and Export are used to interact with source files stored on the file system. |

Build |
This menu contains the Compile function that is used to compile the code in the active editor. |

Edit |
This menu contains the Standard editing functions. |

View |
Contains the functions for enabling the controls and toolbars but also contains a Simple View item. This function is used to show only the user code. Note: The IntelliSense is not as functional in the simple view, but all other functions work the same. |

Help |
This menu provides access to information on the installed AVEVA products. |

Debug |
This menu contains only one item that is used to launch a debugger. |
