Follow this procedure to inhibit state alarms on analog, rate, flowTotalConfig, tank, and almlimit points.

In the following procedure, an analog point is used as an example. The procedure is the same for rate, flowTotalConfig, tank, and almlimit points. The Analog Control dialog is opened through either a station schematic or the Analog Summary window. For information on the Analog Summary window, refer to the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA HMI Controller documentation.

  3. In the State Alarm Inhibits section, select the states on which to inhibit alarms.

Notes: Selecting Abnormal Alarm in the Alarm Inhibits section will override any selected state alarm inhibits.

Expiry Warning Time and Reason are only available when the Inhibit Time is configured for a specific time. In case of unlimited time (00:00:00), both fields are disabled.
