Deploy the Olson time zone database

After you’ve recompiled the time zone database, you need to deploy it to all servers.

Before You Begin

  • Ensure that:

    • The destination servers have been updated to the latest cumulative Windows time zone updates.

    • The time zone is set appropriately in the destination servers' Windows Date and Time settings.

To deploy the Olson time zone database

  1. Do one of the following

    • Copy the contents of the %DataDir%\Shared\sdk\3rdParty\ZoneInfo\ folder to all servers, or

    • Create a Windows Installer (MSI) for publishing the contents of the %DataDir%\Shared\sdk\3rdParty\ZoneInfo\ folder to all target servers.

  2. Restart all services for the changes to take effect.
