Note: For information on overriding default configuration settings, refer to Modify configuration settings.

This enhancement allows you to configure AlarmSerialization to verify and adjust alarm counts for remotes and stations as part of its process. This helps to ensure that alarm counts for remotes and stations are correct.

The "RealTime" > "ALARM_SERIALIZATION_SYNC_CYCLE" key in the RealTime_StationMonitoring.json file controls the amount of time between each verification/adjustment of alarm counts for remotes and stations.

To configure AlarmSerialization to verify and adjust alarms counts for remote and stations

  1. In the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings directory, either create or open the RealTime_StationMonitoring.json file.

  2. In the following object, change the numerical value to the desired value (in minutes):

    {

    "RealTime": {

    "ALARM_SERIALIZATION_SYNC_CYCLE": 0

    }

    }

    Notes: The minimum interval time is 15 minutes. If you enter a value less than 15, the value defaults to 15.

    The default value of 0 disables the verifying and adjusting of alarm counts for remotes and stations.

  3. Save the file.

  4. Restart the RealTime service.
