Follow these conventions when naming a <table>.xml file.
-
The <table>.xml file can be placed in one of the following directories:
-
%DNADataRoot%\ADE\config\ADE\DBEdit\Schema\baseline
-
%DNADataRoot%\ADE\config\ADE\DBEdit\Schema\custom
The presence of the file in either directory indicates that this is a new form for a table called <table>.
If a <table>.xml file exists in both the baseline and the custom directories, the DBEditDisplaySchemaMerge process will process the file in the baseline directory first. The system will also display an error message when processing the file in the custom directory.
When the process is complete, the system displays the following message:
Exiting with errors
This is an example of the error message shown when the system finds the farms.xml file in both directories:
Processing the ‘C:\AVEVA\DNA\ADE\config\ADE\DBEdit\Schema\custom\farms\farms.xml’ file. The ‘farms’ table has already been loaded. See log file for more details.
