Export lists of fields from RealTime database (RTDB) tables

Use the list command described herein to export RealTime database (RTDB) table details into Extended Markup Language (XML)-formatted files.

To export lists of fields from RTDB tables

1. On the desktop, double-click the Windows PowerShell for DNA shortcut.

   Windows PowerShell for DNA opens.

2. Execute the following commands:

   set-silo RealTime

   XmlUtil -l -f <TableName>

   Where:

   <TableName> = the name of the RTDB table.

   (if -f is not used, the utility exports the templates of all RTDB tables.)

   The list command creates the following two files:

   • XmlUtilRealtimeTables.xml – lists all the tables within the current RTDB.

     Note: The utility creates this file first. If the file already exists in the destination folder, the utility updates it as necessary to reflect the current state of the RTDB.

   • TableName.t.xml – lists all the fields within the indicated table.
