Note: For information on overriding default configuration settings, refer to Modify configuration settings.
Follow this procedure to configure how often the monitorAlarmBracketing mechanism scans Alarm Bracket sets for alarm conditions as per the values/percentages configured in the Alarm Brackets tab in the almbracket Row Edit dialog box.
To configure the MonitorAlarmBracketing scan interval
-
In the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings directory, either create or open the RealTime_alarmbracket.json file.
-
Change the numerical value of "ALMB_MON_PROC_INTERVAL" to the desired value (in seconds):
{
"RealTime": {
"ALMB_PS_INTEG_INTERVAL": 300,
"ALMB_MON_PROC_INTERVAL": 15,
"ALMB_PS_PRINT_INTERVAL": 1800
}
}
At the configured interval, monitorAlarmBracketing scans the configured Alarm Bracket sets, and all records therein, and then sleeps for that many seconds.
-
Save the file.
-
Restart the RealTime service.
