The Setpoint Creep Alarms enhancement adds additional setpoint creep alarm fields to the analog.hilow, rate.hilo, and pnthilow types within the RealTime database (RTDB). When enabled and configured, the Setpoint Creep alarm category causes AVEVA Enterprise SCADA to generate an alarm when the value of an analog point's curval field deviates too far from the commanded setpoint.
The analog.hilow and rate.hilo types within the RTDB contain the following, additional fields:
|
Field Name |
Data Type |
Description |
|---|---|---|
|
inSetpntCreepState |
oas_boolean_t |
Indicates whether the setpoint is currently in a creep deviation state. |
|
setCreeplim |
float |
Setpoint Creep Limit. |
|
setptdoit |
oas_boolean_t |
Enable/Disable Setpoint Creep Alarms. |
The default pnthilow type within the RTDB contains the following, additional field:
|
Field Name |
Data Type |
Description |
|---|---|---|
|
setpntCreepAlarmCounts |
unsigned int |
Setpoint Creep Alarm counts. |
A setpoint creep alarm occurs when the current analog value (curval) deviates away from the current setpoint (curspt) more than the setpoint creep limit (setCreeplim).
Setpoint creep alarms are persistent and belong to the alarm category "setpntcreep". These alarms are subject to alarm suppression (if configured accordingly via a registry variable [refer to Configure the generation of stateless alarms]), regeneration, and inhibition.
Analog points are in a setpoint creep state when the inSetpntCreepState flag is true.
