The system stores the user and group associations in a cache that it refreshes whenever the cached data, when accessed, is older than the value defined by the DNAIdentityCacheRefreshMinutes configuration setting. This value is set to five minutes by default, meaning that there can be a delay between when the users and groups are assigned and when that assignment is recognized by easy eXtended Operator Station (ezXOS).
To override the minimum cache refresh time
-
In the %DNADataRoot%\Common\config\Settings directory, create a new JSON-based override file (for example, CoreSDK_IdentityCacheOverride.json).
-
Add the following content to the file:
{
"CoreSDK": {
"DNAIdentityCacheRefreshMinutes": <minutes>
}
}
Where <minutes> = an integer greater than, or equal to, 1.
-
Save the file.
-
Restart the Common service to apply the changes.
