The default value of the MAX_DESTINATIONS parameter is 15. If a greater value is needed, follow the procedure below before installing datapump.

To set the value greater than 15

  1. Navigate to %DNADataRoot%\Historical\config\Settings.

  2. Either open the existing datapump.json file, or create a new custom file (datapump_custom.json).

  3. Add the parameter with the correct value. In this example, the new value is 20.

  4. You also need to update the DPUpdateKeysCollect and DPUpdateKeysHour stored procedures defined in the XIS_TIMESERIES_PRC_datapump.sql file located in the following location: %DNADataRoot%\Historical\config\applicationsql\DataPump\SYSTEM_TEMPLATE\DP_Populate_keys\TimeSeries.

  5. To update the DPUpdateKeysCollect stored procedures, navigate to the insert into DPkeycollect statement and the following select statement, and add the following columns as needed:

    insert into DPkeycollect

    (

    time,

    datasetId, ownSysId, tagId,

    updateTime,

    xfr_status1, xfr_status2, xfr_status3, xfr_status4, xfr_status5,

    xfr_status6, xfr_status7, xfr_status8, xfr_status9, xfr_status10,

    xfr_status11, xfr_status12, xfr_status13, xfr_status14, xfr_status15,

    xfr_status16, xfr_status17, xfr_status18, xfr_status19, xfr_status20

    updateMsec

    )

    select

    DATEADD(ss, keyOffset, @startOfRangeTime),

    @datasetId, @ownSysId, NULL,

    @curTime,

    xfr1, xfr2, xfr3, xfr4, xfr5,

    xfr6, xfr7, xfr8, xfr9, xfr10,

    xfr11, xfr12, xfr13, xfr14, xfr15,

    xfr16, xfr17, xfr18, xfr19, xfr20

    @curTimeMsec

    from TimeSeries..DPkeyOffsetcollect, Xosapp..DPStatusValsDS

  6. To update the DPUpdateKeysHour stored procedures, navigate to the lines shown below, and add new lines to declare all the required variables:

    …

    declare @xfr13 tinyint

    declare @xfr14 tinyint

    declare @xfr15 tinyint

    declare @xfr16 tinyint

    declare @xfr17 tinyint

    declare @xfr18 tinyint

    declare @xfr19 tinyint

    declare @xfr20 tinyint

  7. To update the next select statement, navigate to the lines shown below, and add the previous variables created:

    select @xfr1 = xfr1, @xfr2 = xfr2, @xfr3 = xfr3, @xfr4 = xfr4, @xfr5 = xfr5,

    @xfr6 = xfr6, @xfr7 = xfr7, @xfr8 = xfr8, @xfr9 = xfr9, @xfr10 = xfr10,

    @xfr16 = xfr16, @xfr17 = xfr17, @xfr18 = xfr18, @xfr19 = xfr19, @xfr20 = xfr20

    from Xosapp..DPStatusValsDS

    where DPFunc = 'I'

    and datasetId = @datasetId

  8. To update the if statement, navigate to the lines shown below, and add the following:

    …

    and (@xfr16 = 99)

    and (@xfr17 = 99)

    and (@xfr18 = 99)

    and (@xfr19 = 99)
