Set the active set of alternative alarm limits

Follow this procedure to change the specific set of alternative alarm limits that the system uses for associated analog, rate, and flowTotalConfig points.

Before you begin

Complete the steps in View the attributes of active alternative limits.

To set the active set of alternative alarm limits

1. On the Alternate Alarm Limits Summary window, select the row header of the record whose limits you want the system to use when Controllers enable alternative alarm limits for an associated point.

   The Alternate Alarm Limits Control Panel dialog box opens.

   

2. Select Set Active.

   A message appears.

   

3. To proceed with the indicated change, select Yes.
