Configure the xmlproto record

Xmlproto records are stored in the xmlproto table, and are automatically created when the Protocol field on the Main tab in the remote Row Edit dialog box is set to xmlproto. Xmlproto records are edited using the tabs on the xmlproto Row Edit dialog box.

Before you begin

Complete the steps in Create a remote record.

To configure the xmlproto record

1. On the Main tab in the remote Row Edit dialog box, select Protocol Record Edit.

   The Main tab in the xmlproto Row Edit dialog box opens.

2. Refer to the following sections for information on configuring the tabs on the xmlproto Row Edit dialog box:

   • Xmlproto Row Edit: XML tab
