Use the Administrative Tools menu in the Control panel to stop the Open Platform Communications (OPC) client.

To stop the OPC client

  1. Select Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.

    The Services display window appears.

  2. Right-click the OPC client.

    An action menu appears.

  3. Select Stop.
