Update RealTime Area of Responsibility (AOR)

The RealTime Area of Responsibility (AOR) must be updated when a group has been created. This can be achieved through the Network Management Console (NMC), in addition to Job Scheduler (JSH) records.
If the system contains a RealTime service, then changes in the infrastructure for the AOR Group and AOR Area will be periodically copied into the RealTime database (RTDB). The RealTime Job Scheduler's (jsh) record AORSynchronization defines the time period for the RealTime synchronization. If the Advanced Database Editor (ADE) needs to use a recently created Group through the NMC, then the Update RealTime AOR option, found in the AOR Area action menu, can be selected to trigger an immediate update.
Applications may not react immediately to changes in AOR configuration. It may take several minutes before the AOR change takes effect.
