The reminder table is used to configure custom alarms and then schedule their occurrence. You can specify reminders to be one-time alarms, one-time or recurring conditional alarms, or to recur at a specific time or date and time. The reminder table contains the following internal fields:

Internal Field Name

Data Type

Description

accessFlag

displayname

This flag is used by easy eXtended Operator Station (ezXOS) to determine whether a table is being modified through the Advanced Database Editor (ADE). If the flag is set, access to the table is denied.

analogOperator

text4

This field is the mathematical operator for an analog comparison.

analogSlot

analogslot

The analog point used for a conditional reminder.

analogValue

anaDatatype

This field is the value of the analog point configured as part of a conditional reminder.

currentAnalog

analogslot

The current analog point used in value comparisons for Threshold Conditional reminders.

dataset

doas_dset_slot

This field indicates the dataset to which the record is assigned. Datasets are used to associate the record with the privileges assigned for each system mode. Once a record is assigned to a dataset value, the dataset can only be changed to a value for which the system has a privilege record.

DBnPnt

DBPointType

This field is the database and point composite for the One-Shot Alarm.

description

pntdescription

A description of the reminder point, up to 47 characters in length.

dsysControl

unsigned char

This field indicates if the record is controllable from a local system.

enabled

oas_boolean_t

This field indicates whether the reminder is currently enabled.

flag

flags

For information on the flag structure, see Flag structure details.

group

groupslot

This field shows the group that this point is associated with for alarming.

last_time

internaltime

Use this field to configure the date and time at which you want the system to generate the last recurring alarm.

last_time_enable

oas_boolean_t

This field indicates that the last time execution is enabled.

message

almsumMsg

This field is the alarm message text, up to 256 characters in length.

name

pntname

The unique name of the record.

onetime_time

internaltime

This field is date/time for the one-time reminder.

pointOperator

text4

This field is the mathematical operator for the one-shot alarm point comparison.

pointPath

path

This field is the reference point for the one-shot alarm.

pointValue

double

This field is the value of the one-shot alarm point.

ptnum

unsigned char

This field displays the slot number assigned to this record in the database.

rateOperator

text4

This field is the mathematical operator for the rate comparison.

rateSlot

rateslot

The status point used for a conditional reminder.

rateValue

double

This field is the value for the rate point configured as part of a conditional reminder.

recurring

oas_boolean_t

This field indicates if this reminder is recurring. It is only used for a conditional reminder.

reminderType

operatorReminderType

This field shows the type of operator reminder of this record:

  • At Date

  • Periodic Date

  • Periodic Time

  • Status Trigger

  • Analog Trigger

  • Rate Trigger

  • Analog Threshold Trigger

  • One-Shot Alarm Trigger

severity

sev_enum

The field specifies the severity level of the alarm.

statusSlot

statusslot

The status point used for a conditional reminder.

statusValue

statusStates

This field is the value for the status point configured as part of a conditional reminder.

targetAnalog

analogslot

The target analog point used in value comparisons for Threshold Conditional reminders.

threshold

anaDatatype

This field is the target value of threshold.

thresholdBool

text4

This field is used to compare the current analog with the target analog.

thresholdOper

text4

This field is the mathematical operation applied to threshold.

timeblk

taskTimer

This field allows you to specify the date/time for a scheduled reminder message (alarm) on the basis of:

  • Month

  • Day

  • Time

timeblk_week

text4

This field allows you to specify the date/time for a scheduled reminder message (alarm) by indicating the week of the month (1 to 5).
