Before you begin

Note: In the following procedure, an analog point is used as an example. The procedure is similar for configuring rate, status, and multistate points. The Analog Control dialog box is opened through either a station schematic or the Analog Summary window. For information on the Analog Summary window, refer to the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA HMI Controller documentation.

To open the Point Verification Control dialog box

  1. Do one of the following to open the Control dialog box associated with the point you want to verify:

    • On a station schematic, select either a value or the device associated with the point.

    • On the Analog Summary window, select the row header for the point.

Note: When you open the Point Verification Control dialog box, its appearance depends on whether the record was last saved to the CRM database in a verified or pending state. If the record was last saved in a pending state, the dialog box appears pre-loaded with configurable verification information. If the record was last saved in an verified state, the dialog box appears with non-configurable fields.

  3. Do one of the following:

    • If the Point Verification Control dialog box appears configurable (a pending record), do one of the following:

    • If the Point Verification Control dialog box is not configurable (a verified record), and you want to enter new results to the CRM database, select New and refer to Enter the results of Point to Point Verification.

    • If the Point Verification Control dialog box is not configurable (a verified record), and you no longer want to save the last-entered results in a verified state:

      1. Select Unverify to change the status of the results in the database to "unverified."

      2. Refer to the first bullet in step 3.
