Historical time

AVEVA Enterprise SCADA provides configuration control over time stamps and Top of Day policies in the Historical database.

AVEVA Enterprise SCADA provides configuration control over:

• Timestamp Policy: Top of Period timestamp or Bottom of Period timestamp.

• Top of Day Policy: The hour that is used by the system to determine when daily records should be created.

Configure the timestamp and the Top of Day through the System Properties - Time Boundaries tab. For more information, refer to the Tools Administrator documentation.

Note: It is strongly advised NOT to re-configure the Timestamp and/or the Top of Day.
