Configure the Management of Change (MoC) Retry mechanism

Note: For information on overriding default configuration settings, refer to Modify configuration settings.

To configure the Management of Change (MoC) Retry mechanism, the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA configuration settings JSON file on every server may need to be modified. The JSON files are installed to the following location, but must be copied and configured in the %DNADataRoot%, as described above:

• %DNAInstallRoot%\ManagementOfChange\config\Settings

• %DNAInstallRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings

To configure the MoC retry mechanism

1. Create or open the ManagementOfChange.json file in the %DNADataRoot% directories.

2. Add or edit the ManagementOfChangeNumberOfRetries key and set it to a specified number of retries for an action.

   Note: ManagementOfChangeNumberOfRetries is a global setting that will affect all components using the IRetry extension.

3. Add or edit the ManagementOfChangeRetryInterval key and set the interval in milliseconds between retries.

   Note: ManagementOfChangeRetryInterval is a global setting that will affect all components using the IRetry extension.

   The following example shows the content of the configuration setting JSON file:
