To set bitmask according to severity level
-
Open eXtended Editor (XE) and select the model that you want to modify.
For further information on XE, refer to the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA HMI Display Builder documentation.
-
In the selected model, right-click on the tab for the alarm summary window that you want to modify and select Wizard.
Note: A model may contain multiple windows.
-
Under Operational Profile, select Alarm if not already selected.
-
Select Next.
-
In the Business Logic Tier (BLT) Command field, do one of the following:
-
For flashing alarms, enter FilteralmSevN.
-
For non-flashing alarms, enter AlarmVsAlert.
-
-
In the Parameter field under BLT Parameters, select 6.
Calculate a numerical value that represents the severity levels that need to be included in the current window. The value can be calculated by summing up the Bitmask values in regards to the severity levels that are required (see the "Severity vs. Bitmask" table above). For example, if you want severity levels "Low" and "Minor", the Bitmask value will be 2 + 4 = 6.
-
In the Value field, enter the Bitmask value calculated in Step 6.
-
Select Update.
-
Select Next until finished.
