ModifyFlexTag

This Business Logic Tier (BLT) modifies all flexTag records that match.

Input Parameters

• paramList (required) - a string with "find" and "modify" parameters.

• At least one "modify" parameter is required.

• Entries are separated by asterisks (*).

• Within each item, the parameter type (F or M), field name, and value are separated by pipes (|).

• The paramList is of the form: F|findFieldName1|value1*F|findFieldName2| value2*M|modifyFieldName3|value3*M|modifyFieldName4|value4.

• In the paramList , the "find" items are AND'ed together, so that all fields must match.

• There is one exception to this rule - if DBnPnt items are specified, they are OR'ed together.

• DBnPnt values are of the form "point/database". This feature supports Tag Grouping.

Results

The first result set contains the matching tags that were successfully modified. The second result set contains the matching tags that did not get modified (including those not within your Area of Responsibility (AOR)).
