Determine item name and subgroup name

For AGA Parameter changes, you need to know the item name and subgroup name for the writecommitembyname stored procedure.

To determine item name and subgroup name

1. Open AVEVA Measurement Advisor.

2. Determine if you are looking for a Meter property, Gas Quality property, Measurement Point property, etc.

   

3. Select the appropriate button.

   For example, for a Meter property, select Graphical Meter Summary.

4. When the appropriate summary window opens, right-click an existing object and select Properties.

   The Properties window opens.

   In the Properties window, you can determine the subgroup name and item name for the object property of interest.

5. Search the available tabs to find the item you want to change.

6. Determine the value to use for the stored procedure:

   • If the item has a dropdown menu, use text value.

   • If the item has a numeric entry, use numeric value.

   • If the item has a checkbox, use boolean value.
