When a flow rate exceeds a rate record's configured reasonability limit, AVEVA Enterprise SCADA:
-
Generates a persistent alarm with the following message:
REASONABILITY from NORMAL. Flowrate <value> has exceeded Reasonability Limit <value>. The last good flowrate <value> will be retained.
-
Logs an event with the same message.

Note: Refer to the following list in regards to the Rate Summary window and the Rate Control dialog box:
-
The displayed flow rate is the last good flow rate, not the flow rate that exceeded the reasonability limit and led to the alarm condition.
-
The "Error" data quality indicator appears.
-
The state of the point is "REASONABILITY".

Note: Refer to the following list in regards to the Alarm Summary window:
-
The window displays the Reasonability alarm message.
-
A Reasonability alarm is flashing and persistent. Acknowledging the alarm will stop it from flashing, but will not remove it from the window.
The Operational Activities Summary window displays the Reasonability alarm message.
