Modify an existing device's monitoring settings

The following procedure details how to modify an existing device's monitoring settings.

To modify an exisiting device

1. On the desktop, double-click the Windows PowerShell for DNA shortcut.

   Windows PowerShell for DNA opens.

2. To execute the Config WMI Monitor, execute the following commands:

   set-silo Common

   ConfigWMIMonitor

   The OASyS DNA WMI Monitor Wizard opens.

   

3. Select Next.

   The Select Action page appears.

   

4. Select Edit existing configuration, and then select Next.

   The Select the Namespace/Class to be monitored page appears.

   

5. In the Namespace pane, navigate to the desired namespace.

6. In the Available classes pane, select the desired class.

7. Optional: To remove a configured namespace or class, in the respective pane, select Delete.

8. Select Next.

9. Refer to Configure Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) Monitor to publish device information to the NMC for information on how to configure the namespace or class.
