Operational Procedures

The Alarm Procedure (alarmProcedure) table for the Operational Procedures application allows you to associate Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) with AVEVA Enterprise SCADA alarms. As alarms do not have unique identities in AVEVA Enterprise SCADA procedures are linked to alarms through a series of filters. These filters allow you to target a single alarm, or a group of alarms, to be associated with a procedure that instructs Controllers on how to correctly respond to an alarm.

Note: The alarmProcedure table is a global table that is not controlled through dataset permissions, so records are seen by all systems and can be edited by any system that is synchronized with the globally owning system.
