Edit a message

Follow this procedure to edit the contents of a message appearing on the Controller Messaging dialog box.

To edit a message

1. On the Controller Messaging dialog box, select either the row header or anywhere in the row of the message you want to edit.

   The topic and body of the message appear in the Message section.

   

2. Select Edit.

   The following occurs:

   • The text of the Edit button changes to Save Changes.

   • The body of the message becomes available for editing.

     

3. Edit the message as desired.

4. Select Save Changes.

5. When prompted, select Yes.

   The following occurs:

   • The text of the Save Changes button changes back to Edit.

   • The body of the message in the Message section becomes unavailable.
