The Batch Tracking application uses detect records when an analog-type device that detects density or sonic velocity in the pipeline fluid is in place to detect a batch change. The detect table contains the following internal fields:

Internal Field Name

Data Type

Description

analog

analogslot

The name of the analog record polling the detection device.

anatype

detect_anatype

The type of detection device.

corrected

oas_boolean_t

Inhibit the correction of density readings for temperature?

dataset

doas_dset_slot

This field indicates the dataset to which the record is assigned. Datasets are used to associate the record with the privileges assigned for each system mode. Once a record is assigned to a dataset value, the dataset can only be changed to a value for which the system has a privilege record.

densel

detect_densel

The density selection method.

description

description

A description of this detect point, up to 47 characters in length.

flag

flags

For information on the flag structure, see Flag structure details.

group

groupslot

The group that this point is associated with for alarming.

hydrometer

oas_boolean_t

Inhibit hydrometer correction of the density?

inh

oas_boolean_t

Inhibit processing of the record?

meterPath

path

The name of the batchXfer or virtualflowcomputer record associated with this point.

name

pntname

The name of the detector.

node

nodeslot

The associated node.

pipeline

pipelineslot

The associated pipeline.

sd_deadband

double

The minimum change in device reading for interface detection to be considered.

ticket

oas_boolean_t

Issue a Ticket Start or Ticket Split command to the associated Batch Transfer (batchxfer) when an interface is detected?

vol_deadband

double

Volume zone upstream and downstream of the detector location.
