The tables used by the Controller Messaging are located in the Historical Xosapp database:

  • ol_msgCounter

  • ol_msgRange

  • ol_operatorlogmsg

  • ol_unreadmsg

    Table

    Description

    ol_msgCounter

This table contains a tally of the messages that exist in the database. By default, the value is zero (0), and it increases as messages are created.

    ol_msgRange

This table contains the minimum and maximum number of messages that are created per system. Message ranges must be added before Controller Messaging is used. The minimum configuration needed is one row for each system that exists in the environment.

    ol_operatorlogmsg

This table contains all the messages that are created and the ones that have been retired.

    ol_unreadmsg

This table is used to identify which messages have been read by the user and which ones have not.
