The following instructions can be used to reduce/increase two common warning messages that appear in the ACEEngine.log file.

To configure error messages in AVEVA Enterprise SCADA

  1. In the %DNADataRoot%\RealTime\config\Settings directory, either create or open the ACE.json file.

  2. Enter data into the JSON file as follows, to specify:

    • Procedure timeout value:

      {

      "ACE": {

      "PROCEDURE_TIMEOUT": 1600

      }

      }

    • Run timeout value:

      Warning: Total Application Calculation Engine (ACE) execution time for this run (<#> milliseconds) has exceeded specified limits (<#>))

      {

      "ACE": {

      "RUN_TIMEOUT": 1600

      }

      }

  3. Save the file.

  4. Restart the RealTime Service.
