Create a Parameter Stored Procedure Define from an existing Parameter Stored Procedure Define

Follow this procedure to create a parameter based on an existing parameter. The new parameter retains the configuration settings of the original parameter.

  1. In the Parameter Store Proc Define tab of the Data Payload Processor (DPP) Config Tool window, right-click anywhere in the row of the Decode Define of interest and select Edit Parameter Type Stored Procedure.

The Parameter Stored Procedure Define dialog box opens.

  2. In the ParameterType field, enter a unique name for the new parameter.

  3. Configure the remaining fields as desired.

For information on configuring the stored procedure, refer to Step 4 in Create a Parameter Stored Procedure Define.

  4. Select Save.

  5. Back on the DPP Config Tool window, select Refresh.

The new parameter should now appear in the Parameter Store Proc Define tab of the DPP Config Tool window.
