The function of this Business Logic Tier (BLT) is to retrieve collection or summary data from the PI server.
Syntax
Trend <table_name> <tag_name> <column_name> <start_time> <end_time> <show_DQ>

Description |

table_name |
This parameter displays the length of the summary period used to calculate the summary values. This can be any of the following: hour, day, month, or year. It can also be instant, which gives you the collect values in the PI server. If instant is used, the value must also be used in the column_name field. |

tag_name |
This parameter displays the name of the point to be viewed. |
|
column_name |
This parameter displays the summary type of data to be viewed. It can be any of the following: value, minimum, maximum, or average. |

start_time |
This parameter indicates the start time in Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). |
|
end_time |
This parameter indicates the end time in GMT. |
|
show_DQ |
This parameter indicates whether or not the return value will show data quality. This is an optional field. The default value is yes. |
