Microsoft SQL Engine default schema

The Microsoft SQL Engine default schema is in machine language format. The Microsoft SQL Engine provides Microsoft SQL access to the data through queries like the following:
select name,"flag.fresh" from analog where name = 'Analog1';
The Microsoft SQL Engine understands that "flag.fresh" is the name of a single field or column of data, despite the fact that it includes an embedded dot character. The Microsoft SQL command uses double-quote characters to delimit illegal Microsoft SQL characters within an identifier such as a column name. The Microsoft SQL command also uses double-quote characters to delimit reserved words so they can be used as identifiers, for example, "group".
