Multi-Control

The Multi-Control application allows you to issue multiple setpoint commands for analog points and digital control commands for status and multistate points by means of a single control operation.

The overall work flow is as follows:

1. Open the Multi-Control Summary window and select the MultiControlGroup record containing the points to which you want to issue a multi-control command (refer to Open the Multi-Control Summary Window and Open the MultiControlGroup Control dialog box).

2. For each analog, status, or multistate point you want to control, set the desired setpoint value (analog points) or state (status or multistate points) in preparation for execution of the command (refer to Submit a pending command).

3. Verify the setpoint and device command values and then execute the multi-control command (refer to Execute the multi-control command).
