Accumulating hour data into day, month, and year summaries

This section describes the process of summarizing hour data into summaries.
Hour Data Fields

Rawcount |
The Raw Accumulator Count for each hour. |

Adjcount |
The Adjusted Accumulator Value (converted to Engineering Units (EGU)). |
|
CountStatus |
M indicates that the hour data has been modified. |
|
Volume |
The sum of the 24 hourly volume (in EGU). |
|
Time |
The hourly timestamp. |
The volume is added together for the period, as follows:

The Hour Data is summarized into a Day Summary. If the hourly data was modified in the End of Period (23:00:00), then CountStatus for the daily data will show M.

The Day Summary is summarized into a Month Summary. If the daily data was modified in the End of Period, then CountStatus for the monthly data will show M.

The Month Summary is summarized into a Year Summary. If the monthly data was modified in the End of Period (last day of the month), then CountStatus for the year data will show M.

Each table shows the Top of Period Timestamp and Bottom of Period Timestamp.

The Raw Accumulator Count, the Adjusted Accumulator Value and the Count Status are taken from the Bottom (end) of the Period, regardless of the Administrator configuration. Rawcount, Adjcount and CountStatus are the same for both top and bottom of period.

Data that is not shown in the Hour Data, has a volume of 0.

Day Table
The day table of the accum database has the same field names as accum database’s hour table. Refer to Accum hour table.
Month Table
The Month table of the accum database has the same field names as accum database’s hour table. Refer to Accum hour table.
Year Table
The Year table of the accum database has the same field names as accum database’s Hour table. Refer to Accum hour table.
