Note the following in regards to SystemB route configuration:

  • SystemB is a source to SystemA.

  • SystemB is also a destination to SystemA, but the former does not connect to the latter.

  • You only need to configure one paramters on SystemB.

To configure the one parameter on SystemB

  1. Navigate to the %DNADataRoot%\Realtime\database\cmxrepsql\systemB directory.

  2. Open the config.sys.systemA.sql file.

  3. Add the following parameter with the assigned value:

    configure route systemA set connectToSource = 0;

    • connectToSource = 0: SystemA is a source for SystemB. Instead of SystemB initiating a connection to SystemA, it relies on SystemA to connect to SystemB.

    • There is no need to configure the connectToDest, routeToSourceEnabled, and routeToDestEnable parameters. The system will use the default values for these parameters.

    • As a source system, SystemB does not connect to the SystemA destination system.

    • As a destination system, SystemB will likewise not connect to the SystemA source system.
